TheStadstimmerwerf is a historic complex that played an important role in the infrastructure and urban development of Leiden in earlier centuries. The Stadstimmerwerf was the central working area for city crafts and maintenance in Leiden. Carpenters, masons, and other craftsmen worked here who were responsible for the construction and maintenance of bridges, city gates, and other public works. It also served as a warehouse for wood and building materials.

I really like this building because for me it has a typical Dutch facade and stepped gable.
